Bull Mastiff

Puck

Puck is a 1-2 year old Bull Mastiff, he is a sweet lad with a gentle nature and a playful character. Puck has been in a foster home and settled in really well. His foster mum says that he is house-trained, obedient and knows many basic commands.

He is also a really fast learner, he is happy to sleep on his own at night, loves to play and gets along with everyone! Puck is looking for dog owners that are used to large breeds. He is also very good with dogs and can live with a female that will be happy to share his home with him. He can also live with older teenagers that are used to dogs.

Puck does have a slight hip problem so any new owner will need to talk with one of our vets. He also can occasionally get car sick although he does travel much better in the boot.

If you feel you can offer this great dog a home please come in and register with us or contact us today.

Danny

Danny is an 18 month old male Bull Mastiff, he is very friendly but will initially bark at strangers. He is good on the lead and is tolerant of other dogs but would be better suited to a single dog household. He is not good with cats.

When he came into rescue he weighed only 4 stone but now is up to his proper weight and is fit and healthy, he is fully vaccinated, microchipped and is about to be neutered. He was rescued from a chain on a gypsy camp where he had been teased by young children so is better placed in a home without children, with experienced handling and a knowledge of the giant breeds he will make someone a great dog.

Chloe

Chloe is a 5-7 year old Bull Mastiff who was brought back to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in December 2005 for being destructive when left alone.

Chloe is a big bouncy girl and although Chloe may not have the physical ability to run around she is still very active mentally and can get bored easily which is why she was becoming destructive in her last home.

She has spent some time with the Behaviour Unit in order to investigate her behaviour towards other dogs. Chloe does not go looking for trouble with other dogs, in fact she is quick to greet but prefers then to do her own thing.

Chloe is looking for a Semi-Rural location with a large garden. Her new owners will need to have experience of larger breeds, Rottweilers, Mastiffs etc and preferably experience of older bitches.

Her new household will be an adult only household and a home with a sense of humour is a must! Chloe could live with a confident cat.

Chloe has a great sense of humour and is a real bull in a china shop! She needs owners that will understand and enjoy her unique character.

Chloe is at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home London. Please call the Behaviour Unit on 020 7627 7884 if you are interested in Chloe or email us on and quote ref 2005/06430
