Meet Otis, he is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier male aged approximately 18 months old. He was picked up as a stray and never claimed. He urgently needs your help as he has a limited time to find a new home. Can you offer him a loving home and a place in your heart?

He is a really nice dog and loves affection, but needs an experienced owner. He would be best suited to an adult only household, without cats and he doesn’t particularly get on with other dogs, so will need to be walked onlead with his new owner.

Marsha is a 7 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier female. She is a sweet, friendly dog who has been returned to us for being too excitable out of the house. She is fully house-trained and is fine with other dogs and provided she is given the attention and exercise which she needs she should become calmer when out on a walk.

She is good with children but would rather not live with any as she is getting a bit older and likes to be left in peace. She can be protective of her toys and food and will growl if you try to take them away but this can be solved with training exercises. Marsha would suit a quiet household where she will receive the love and attention she needs and deserves.

Meet Shy, a 1-2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is an absolute delight and is now looking for a permanent, loving home. She arrived at Battersea throught no fault of her own. When she was checked by the vet team here they noticed she was walking oddly and they had to investigate further.

Shy has signs of arthritis in both knees which is visible on x-rays and has had to have surgery on one knee. Her new owner must be prepared to follow a restricted exercise plan to help with her recovery and be prepared for the possibility of vets bills in the future regarding her condition.

Despite this Shy is still very active and mobile and mental stimulation is going to be key to her well being. She is looking for experienced owners with teenagers who will understand she will not be able to physically keep up with them and this could set her back and make her condition worsened quiclky. Also, she is not to live with other dogs as she needs limited exercise.

Shy is such a wonderful character, full of charm and love. She really is a great example of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed and will just bring so much joy to be around!
